Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Velysaro when you use the website or the product. Please read them; the short version comes first.
The agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and the company that operates Velysaro ("Velysaro", "we", "us"), identified in the Privacy Policy. By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using velysaro.com or the Velysaro application (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you may bind that business, and "you" includes it.
The Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy describe how we handle personal data and form part of these Terms.
The service
Velysaro is an AI content engine for short-form video. It proposes ideas for a channel or angles for a product, generates hooks and scripts, produces vertical videos with visuals, voice, captions and music, lets you regenerate or replace individual scenes, and organises the results in a workspace and calendar. Features differ by plan and may change over time as described in Changes.
The Service is currently in a pre-launch phase. Access may be limited, offered by invitation, or provided for evaluation, and features may be incomplete or change without notice during this period.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter into a binding contract where you live, to use the Service. If the law where you live sets a higher age for an agreement of this kind, that age applies. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, or if we have previously closed your account for breaching these Terms.
Your account
You need an account to use the product. Give us accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your password and any sign-in links private. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account until you tell us it has been compromised at [email protected]. Do not share an account or transfer it to someone else. We may require you to verify your email address before some features are available.
Credits and plans
Generation is paid for with credits. Plans include an allowance of credits and you may be able to buy more. Expensive operations, such as generating video, voice or premium motion, consume credits; cheap operations are designed to feel free. The number of credits each operation consumes is shown in the product before you confirm it, and current plans are described in the pricing section of the home page.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and cannot be exchanged for money except as described in our Refund Policy or where the law requires a refund.
- Credits included in a plan belong to the billing period they are granted for. Unused plan credits expire at the end of that period, and when the plan ends or is cancelled. Each new period starts with that period's full allowance.
- Credits you buy separately as a credit pack do not expire. They stay in your balance for as long as your account is open, including while you are on the free plan.
- Film credit packs are sold to paid plans only. Like other credit packs, they don't expire.
- Generations draw on plan credits first, so the credits that carry an expiry date are always used before the credits you bought.
- Credits consumed by a generation that fails for a reason on our side are returned to your balance.
- We may change credit costs, allowances and plans; changes apply from your next billing period and are announced in advance.
The Studio
The Studio is the part of the Service for series with recurring characters: you build a cast and places, write episodes, plan the shots and make each shot with a video model you pick. These points apply to it in addition to the rest of these Terms.
- Credits are reserved when you confirm. When you confirm a take, a keyframe, a character sheet, a finish stage or another paid step, the credits shown are reserved and are consumed when the result comes back. If a model's provider refuses the request, or it fails for a reason on our side, the reserved credits are released to your balance. When a model refuses a shot, the fallback may try another model or a wider framing, but only within the amount you confirmed. If you set a session budget in the Studio chat, the plans the chat runs never spend more than that budget.
- Characters are fictional. Studio characters must be fictional. You may not create or upload the likeness of a real person, living or dead, in the Studio, or present a Studio character as a real person. This adds to Acceptable use.
- Music. If you upload music, you must have the rights to use it in what you publish, and you confirm this in the product before the upload is used; you are responsible for those rights. Generated music is made under the licence of the provider whose model makes it. We offer a music model only once its licence allows publishing on the platforms you post to; until then, music models are not offered.
- The model providers' rules. The video, image, upscale, lip-sync and music models are run by the third-party providers named in the Privacy Policy, and their usage rules also apply to what you make with them. Content a provider refuses is not generated, and the credits reserved for it come back. Some models also carry their makers' use restrictions, which apply to what you make with them: for example, you may not use them to give medical advice or interpret medical results, to impersonate anyone without consent, or to get around a model's safety filters.
- Finished episodes are locked. Once an episode's final version is assembled, it is locked to the series as it was then: later changes to its characters, places or style do not change it. Unlocking it is free and lets it follow the series again.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create, upload or distribute content that:
- is illegal where you are or where it will be published, or that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- impersonates a real person, brand or organisation, or presents a synthetic voice or likeness as a real one without authorisation;
- violates the rules of the platform it is intended for, including rules on synthetic media disclosure, spam and manipulation;
- makes misleading, unsubstantiated or prohibited claims about a product, service, price, result or endorsement, including in UGC-style content;
- is sexual content involving minors, incites violence, or is hateful, harassing or threatening;
- contains malware or is designed to interfere with the Service or with anyone else's use of it.
You also agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or our systems;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- circumvent credit limits, rate limits, safety filters or other technical measures;
- use the Service to train a machine-learning model without our written agreement.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach this section, and we may report unlawful content to the authorities.
Your content
You own your inputs. The channel profiles, product facts, assets, scripts, edits and other material you provide ("Inputs") remain yours. You confirm that you have the rights needed to use them in the Service, including rights to any product images, logos, music or likenesses you upload.
You own your outputs. Subject to these Terms and to the extent permitted by law, we assign to you any rights we hold in the videos, scripts and other material the Service generates for you ("Outputs"). Because Outputs are produced by AI models, similar Outputs may be generated for other users, and we cannot guarantee that an Output is unique or protectable.
The licence we need. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify, transmit and display your Inputs and Outputs, and to send the relevant parts of them to our AI providers, solely to provide, secure and improve the Service for you and to comply with the law. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backup copies that expire on their own schedule and for content we must keep to meet a legal obligation. We do not train models of our own on your Inputs or Outputs, we do not licence them to anyone else for training, and we do not show your content to other users unless you choose to share it. Some of our AI providers may use what they receive to train or improve their own models, under their own terms; the Privacy Policy says which ones, and what each receives.
AI-generated output
Outputs are produced by AI systems. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, biased or unintentionally similar to existing work, and they are not advice. Before you publish or use an Output you are responsible for reviewing it and for confirming that it is accurate and lawful. This matters most for:
- product claims, prices, ingredients, results and comparisons in UGC or promotional content;
- advertising and consumer-protection rules in the country where the content is shown, including disclosure of paid promotion and of synthetic media;
- anything concerning health, finance, legal matters, or a real person.
Velysaro generates product content from the facts and claim rules you provide and is designed not to invent testimonials or claims, but you remain responsible for the facts you enter and for the final content.
Every video Velysaro renders carries a machine-readable mark that it is AI-generated. Do not remove or alter it, and label the content as AI-generated wherever the platform or the law requires it, for example under Article 50 of the EU AI Act or a platform's synthetic-media rules.
Third-party platforms
Content you make with Velysaro is intended for platforms such as TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. Those platforms are not part of the Service; your use of them is governed by their own terms, community guidelines and monetisation and disclosure rules, which you agree to follow. If you connect a platform account to Velysaro, you authorise us to act through that connection only as needed to provide the features you use, and you can disconnect it at any time. We are not responsible for a platform's decisions about your content or account.
The same applies to an AI assistant you connect under AI connections: it acts on your account within the permissions you approve, what it does there is done at your direction, and its provider's own terms apply to what it receives. You can revoke the connection at any time.

Billing and refunds
Purchases are handled by Paddle.com, which acts as merchant of record. That means Paddle is the seller of the subscription or credit pack you buy, collects payment, applies tax, issues the invoice and processes refunds, under Paddle's own terms and privacy policy, which you accept at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel from your billing page or through Paddle at paddle.net; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and you are not charged again. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period.
- Prices are in US dollars and are the same in every country; any tax that applies is shown at checkout.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, Paddle's refund policy and applicable consumer law. Credits that have already been consumed by generations are not refundable except where the law or Paddle's buyer terms require it.
- If a payment is refunded or reversed, for example by a chargeback, the credits that payment added are removed from your balance. If you have already used some of them, your balance is reduced to zero rather than going negative, and a reversed payment may also end the subscription it paid for.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it is resolved.
Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from account settings or by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if we must do so by law, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if the Service is discontinued. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. After closure you can export your content for a period we will tell you about, after which it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive, including those on content, disclaimers, liability and governing law, continue to apply.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that Outputs will be accurate or achieve any result. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velysaro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or of any Output, however caused. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in that period, or one hundred US dollars (USD 100) if you paid nothing.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for wilful misconduct.
Changes
We are building the Service and it will change. We may add, alter or withdraw features, and we may update these Terms. If a change to the Terms materially reduces your rights we will tell account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect, by email or in the product — sooner only where a change must take effect immediately for legal or security reasons. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new Terms; if you do not, close your account before they take effect. The date at the foot of this page shows the current version.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, and the courts of Hong Kong SAR have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in its courts. The operating company is named on the contact page.
We may publish translations of these Terms and of our other policies for convenience. The English version is the binding one: if a translation and the English text differ, the English text prevails.
