AI connections and your data

How an AI app you connect to Velysaro (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another app that supports MCP connectors) reaches your account, what it can see and do, and what we keep.

What an AI connection is

Velysaro runs an MCP server: a way for an AI app to use your Velysaro account through tools, the same way you use it in the app. You add Velysaro to the AI app, sign in to Velysaro and approve the connection on a Velysaro page. AI connections are part of every paid plan. If your plan no longer includes them, your connections stop working until you upgrade, and you can still revoke them.

What you choose

  • Channels: all of them (including ones you add later) or only the ones you tick.
  • Permissions: read; prepare work (ideas, plans, captions, comments, rejecting a post, products and facts); spend credits; publish. The app asks for them and you see them in plain words before you allow it.
  • Publishing: "Prepare posts for my approval" (the default: posts wait for you) or "Publish automatically", which asks for your password or a confirmation link by email.
  • Limits: credits it may spend per week, and posts per channel per day.

What the app can see and do

Within the channels and permissions you chose, and never beyond your own role in a channel you were invited to, the app can read your channels and their profile, weekly plans, the posts waiting for approval, videos (script, captions, still frames and a video link that works for 15 minutes), performance and suggestions, trend alerts, products and facts, and your credits.

It can change what your permissions cover. It can never change your autopilot settings or caps, linked social accounts, members or billing, and it has no tools to delete anything. Product facts, prices and offers it adds are saved as unverified: videos don't state them until you verify them. Every paid action starts with a price quote, and the server enforces your weekly credit limit and posts per day, whatever the app asks.

What the AI app receives

The app receives the results of the actions it takes, for example a list of your channels or a video's captions. The AI app is a service you chose. It is not our processor, and its provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to what it receives, as our Privacy Policy explains.

What we keep

  • The connection: the app's name, what you allowed, and when it was created and last used.
  • Its access tokens, stored only as hashes. An access token lasts one hour, and a refresh token 30 days.
  • An activity log: each action's name, the channel, the ids and counts it involved, the result and any credits. It never keeps the text the app sent or received.
  • The changes it makes, like your own edits: a caption it rewrote or a comment it wrote shows the app's name.

We keep these while your account exists. Revoking a connection ends its tokens at once, and deleting your account deletes all of it.

Emails about your connections

We email you when a new AI app connects and when a connection may publish automatically. When a connection approved or rejected posts on a channel, a daily summary goes to the channel's owner. It can be turned off per channel.

Your controls

In Velysaro, Settings → AI connections lists every connection. You can change its channels, publishing and limits, pause it, revoke it, and read its activity. For your privacy rights, see the Privacy Policy.
